State Senator Bill Beagle
New Jobs Coming to the Miami Valley

COLUMBUS—State Senator Bill Beagle (R–Tipp City) is pleased to announce the creation of over 800 new jobs in the Miami Valley. Procter and Gamble (P&G) will be opening a distribution center that will serve current Midwest customers.

“Once again, our work to make our region an ideal location to create jobs is paying off,” said Beagle. “Creating job-friendly policies has been my number one focus at the Statehouse, and I am excited to see that P&G chose our community as the place to invest.”

In addition to the over 800 new P&G jobs, the distribution center will build a 1.7 million square foot facility and will invest over $89 million in center. Several local companies are expected to partner with Procter and Gamble to run the facility.

This announcement comes on the heels of many other job announcements to the region, bringing the total number of job announcements since January to over 2,100. This Proctor and Gamble facility is expected to open late 2015.

Senator Bill Beagle serves the people of Ohio’s 5th Senate District, which includes Miami and Preble Counties as well as portions of Montgomery and Darke Counties. He presides as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Workforce & Economic Development. Learn more at www.OhioSenate.gov/Beagle.
