Heroin Bust in
Darke County
On October 17, 2014 the Darke County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit
and Darke County Deputies executed a search warrant at 36 Robin Hood
Drive in Sherwood Forest Mobile Community near Greenville, Ohio,
stemming from a heroin trafficking investigation. Kevin M Smith
(29) of Greenville was taken into custody without incident and is
currently being housed at the Darke County Jail where he awaits formal
charges of Trafficking in Drugs (Heroin) in the Vicinity of a Juvenile
and Tampering with Evidence. Darke County Children’s Services was
contacted in reference to the child being present during the drug
transaction. Additional charges are possible, pending the review
of the case by the Darke County Prosecutor.
