Darke County Sheriff
Domestic
Violence Arrest
On July 11, 2015 at approximately 5:09 AM Darke County deputies along
with the assistance of Tri-Village Rescue responded to 3631 Hi Wind
Road, Greenville, Darke County, Ohio in reference to the report of a
physical domestic violence incident.
Upon arrival, deputies attempted numerous times to make contact with
the residents without success. Deputies did observe an adult male
and female as well as a child inside the residence through an opened
window on the front porch. Due to the possibility of injuries and
children present, additional deputies and the Darke County Special
Response Team and Hostage Negotiators were dispatched to the scene.
At approximately 10:41 AM, Darke County deputies observed the garage
door on the west side of the residence open and an adult male and
female exited the residence and were detained without further incident.
The male and female were identified to be Jordan C.N. Redmond (27) and
Tara Redmond (25), both from Greenville, Ohio, who reside there along
with their children.
Jordan C.N. Redmond was transported to the Darke County Jail and is
currently being held on charges of domestic violence.
