Mercer drug bust
Sheriff Jeff Grey and Chief Tom Wale report the arrest of an individual
on drug related charges. Deputies and Officers assigned to
the Task Force applied for and was granted a search warrant for a
residence at 649 North Mill Street in Celina. The search warrant
was a result of a drug buy investigation, and was executed on June 16,
2015 at 7:16 PM.
Arrested was 25 year old Kameron McCarty, 649 North Mill Street,
Celina. McCarty is currently incarcerated in the Mercer County
Detention Facility, pending formal charges being filed. The case
will be forwarded to the Mercer County Prosecutor.
Deputies and Officers recovered drug paraphernalia (spoons, syringes,
straws), marijuana, several empty capsules of suspected heroin, and
assorted unknown pills.
