Fourth Mercer
County traffic fatality of 2015
Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey reports his office is investigating a
fatal traffic crash that occurred on Kremer Road, South of Huwer in
Marion Township. On September 5, 2015 at 3:58 AM, Central dispatch
received a 9-1-1 call transfer from Auglaize County reporting a one
vehicle crash. The investigation revealed that a 1979 Jeep
was traveling south on Kremer Road, lost control and went off the east
side of the roadway and struck a Pioneer power pole.
Killed was the driver and only occupant, 20 year old Samuel J. Wuebker
of 1189 Kremer Road, Maria Stein Ohio.
This marks the fourth traffic fatality in Mercer County in 2015, and
remains under investigation.
Deputies were assisted on scene by Osgood Fire Department and Squad.
