New Chief of Police to be Sworn In Thursday

Lt. Steve Strick will be sworn in as the new Chief of Police for the City of Greenville on Thursday, August 31st, 2017 at 1:15 in the afternoon. The ceremony will take place in the city council chambers in the Municipal Building.

I would like to congratulate Lt. Strick on this promotion and I have total confidence in his ability to continue to lead the department in a professional and positive manner, said Chief Dennis L. Butts. He will serve the citizens of Greenville well.
