GHS Auto Tech takes Gold in Ky! Again!

Once again, the Greenville High School Automotive Technology Program students take Gold at the National Skills USA Competition. This year, they won the competition at Louisville, Kentucky, for the project “Gaining Traction in the Automotive Industry.”

In order to get to Louisville, the team first had to win Gold at Columbus in April.

The Auto Tech program is no stranger to competition wins, with multiple gold, silver and bronze wins. In the last 14 years, GHS Auto Tech teams have won 11 SkillsUSA state titles and eight SkillsUSA national titles.

Word was spread almost immediately with the Facebook announcement… Greenville High School Automotive Technology students win Gold at the National Skills USA competition for the project "Gaining Traction in the Automotive Industry". Go Wave!!

Comments included… “Another chapter to the great Greenville Auto Tech Program… Congrats to the participants and their advisor!” and “This program produces great results year after year. Congratulations to the students and advisors!”

Greenville beat out Palmdale High School, Palmdale, CA (Silver), North Cobb High School, Kennesaw, GA (Bronze) and entries from dozens of other states in the country.
