A Request from Eric Fee
Entering its second year of service, Empowering Darke County Youth
programs are growing. While many needs are covered by experienced
tutors and substitute teachers, the ability to serve the increasing
demand for help is severely limited by lack of volunteers.
These kids need our church communities behind them… help us help the
kids who are the future of Darke County.
According to the Ohio Department of Education just two years ago,
nearly one in ten high school students in the county fail to graduate
on time or simply drop out of school. One in ten! With your help we can
reach these kids early enough that they won’t be struggling later.
Please make a commitment to set aside one or two hours a week to help

Our Mission: “Empowering Darke County Youth provides After School and
Summer Tutoring programs to assist students in the areas of language
arts and math with the goal of Strong Students for a Strong Community.”
