Single vehicle injury accidents in the county

Injury accident on Versailles Southeastern

On January 5, 2018 at 8:49 a.m. Darke County Deputies along with Versailles Rescue and Fire were dispatched to Versailles Southeastern Rd. and Kelch Rd. on an injury accident.
    
Preliminary investigation revealed a 1998 Ford minivan, driven by Brandy Shaner of Huber Heights, Ohio, was traveling northwest on Versailles Southeastern Rd. in the 9400 block. The Ford minivan travelled off the right side of the roadway into the ditch and struck a utility pole.  
    
Brandy was transported to Miami Valley Hospital by Careflight where she is listed in stable condition.
    
This accident remains under investigation by The Darke County Sheriff’s Office.

Minor injury accident on SR 49 South

On January 3, 2018 at approximately 9:45 pm Darke County Deputies along with Arcanum Rescue and Arcanum Fire, responded to an injury accident located at 4032 State Route 49.

Preliminary investigation revealed a White, 1999 Honda Accord, driven by Trenda Campbell , 49, of Greenville was traveling Northwest on State Route 49.  Campbell advised a deer ran onto the roadway causing her to travel off the left side of the roadway. After leaving the roadway Campbell’s vehicle struck a utility pole, overturning, and coming to rest after striking a parked motor vehicle. Campbell was treated for her injuries and released at the scene.
 
This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
