DCP offers virtual animal encounter
On the last day of both Outside the Box virtual summer camps,
naturalists asked the campers what camp would they like to do next.
Almost all of the kids said ANIMALS! So, by popular demand, DCP is
excited to offer one last 'camp' for the summer. The Virtual Animal
Encounter Camp starts Monday, August 17. During this Zoom featured
camp, participants will meet the hawks, owls, snakes and other park
animal ambassadors! The camp is only $15 for Darke County residents.

During the special live zoom camp, naturalists will meet with campers
daily to discuss the animal ambassadors within the Nature Center. One
day each will focus on Amphibians, reptiles and birds of prey in Darke
County. Each animal encounter will allow campers to learn about the
animal and to ask questions.
