Darke County United Way Announces New Board Members
Greenville, OH (February 16, 2021): The Darke County United Way
recently announced the addition of Kristian Garwood and Gail Overholser
to its Board of Directors.
Kristian Garwood is the Administrative Coordinator at Whirlpool
Corporation in Greenville. When asked why she joined the Board,
Garwood said, “I have worked with United Way in other capacities in the
past and have enjoyed seeing the benefit of all the good things United
Way does.” She went on to say, “I believe we should all do our
part to help those in need. Everyone should have access and
opportunity to better themselves and their family for the
future.” Kristian resides in Union City with her fiancé Greg
Leonard.
Gail Overholser is Co-Owner and CFO of Superior Implement & Supply
Co.(SISCO) in Greenville. “My husband and I are both lifelong
residents of Darke County and are very proud of the community we live
in,” stated Overholser. “It has always been my passion to do what I can
to give back locally. Being a part of the allocation committee
for the United Way in the past gave me a better perspective of all the
great things this organization does for the Darke County
Community.” Gail lives in Greenville with her husband, Ben.
They have a grown son and daughter-in-law, Josh and Jennifer
Overholser.
“I am looking forward to working with Kristian and Gail through the
United Way Board of Directors,” stated Christy Bugher, Executive
Director for the Darke County United Way. “Both have been
involved in a variety of ways with the United Way. Kristian has
conducted workplace campaigns for two different businesses, and Gail
has served on the allocation grant committee as a community
participant. Each one brings valuable skills and talents to the
table as well as a passion to make Darke County a great place to live
and work for EVERY resident.”
