Phyllis M. Honeycutt

Phyllis M. Honeycutt age 54 of Laurel, Indiana, passed away at 10:17 A.M. on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at her residence. Phyllis was born August 13, 1956 in Mercer County, Ohio, to the late Paul & Ruth (Huelskamp) Borger.

    Phyllis was a homemaker.

    In addition to her parents, Phyllis is also preceded in death by a grandson, Ethan Michael Lumpkin; brothers, Ronald and Bill Borger; and sisters, Pauline Kaiser and Mary Jane Creamer.

    Phyllis is survived by her husband, James Honeycutt whom she married April 13, 1988; sons, Ricky Joe Lumpkin of Union City, Indiana and David Paul Lumpkin of Ansonia; daughter, Stacy Lavelle Lumpkin of Union City, Indiana; step sons, David Thomas Honeycutt of Lynn, Indiana and Aaron James Honeycutt of Portland, Indiana; 11 grandchildren; brothers & sister-in-law, Kenneth Borger of Bell City, Missouri, Paul & Betty Borger of St. Henry, and Charles Borger of New Weston; sisters & brothers-in-law, Alice & Bob Uhlenhake of St. Henry, Carol & Garry Ungericht of Ansonia, Dorothy & Dan Harrod of Celina, and Rita Borger of New Weston; mother-in-law, Gerry Honeycutt of Greenville; brothers-in-law, Ronald Creamer of Salem, Indiana, Thomas G. & Connie Honeycutt of Marion, Indiana, Jerry Lynn & Debbi Honeycutt of Hartford City, Indiana, Buford Mills of Middletown, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Shirley White of Middletown, Ohio, Mary Alice & Mike Showman of Newark, Ohio, Arlene & Everett Garland of Greenville, Ohio, and Louise Francis & fiancé Bill Alexander of Union City, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Doug Klinsing officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends of Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
