Edith W. Warner

Edith W. Warner, age 90, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 7:09 PM at the Sterling House in Greenville, Ohio.  She was born on May 7, 1920 in Darke County, Ohio, to the late Edward & Bessie (Bigler) Brewer.

Edith was a homemaker and a former member of the West Grove United Church of Christ until it closed and then attended Stelvideo Christian Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Elden Warner whom she married on November 18, 1939; brothers, Ray & Ralph Brewer; sister, Helen Williams; and grandson, Michael D. Besecker.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Dean & Judy Warner of Fayetteville, Georgia; daughter and son in law, Karen & Michael L. Besecker of Covington, Ohio; grandchildren, Anne (Matt) Legere, Rusty Warner, Paige Warner, and Lyndsey Besecker; great grandchildren, Brandon (Caroline) Legere, Jacob Warner, Brett Warner, Kayla Gray, and Gracie Cook; as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be a service held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Rev. Terry Haworth and Rev. Vernon Rodeffer co-officiating.  Burial will follow in the Miami Memorial Park in Covington, Ohio.  Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
