Jose “Joe” Capetillo
Jose “Joe” Capetillo, 61, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday morning,
February 16, 2011 at the Vitas Hospice in Dayton.
He was born on August 20, 1949 in Uvalde, TX, son of Julia (Fuentes)
Avilas of Uvalde, TX and the late Mateo Capetillo.
Joe had worked for several years in the maintenance department at Wayne
Hospital in Greenville. He had attended the First Assembly Church of
God in Greenville.
He is survived by his wife, Shelly A. (Miller) Capetillo, whom he
married April 21, 2001; sons, Joseph Capetillo of Berne, IN, and Jason
Capetillo of Decatur, IN; grandchildren, Kyler, Kegan, Haley, and
Caleb; four brothers and four sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Tuesday, February 22, at 11 a.m. at the
Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Dale Boerger
officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial
Gardens near Greenville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February
21 from 5-8 p.m.
