Alice Joan (Gantt) Clack

    Alice Joan (Gantt) Clack age 74, of Bradford, Ohio, passed away at 8:30 A.M. on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at her residence. Alice was born July 15, 1937 in Webster, Ohio, to the late Murray & Ethel Bernice (Hess) Gantt.

    Alice was a homemaker and mother. She was a member of New Life Apostolic Church in Bradford.

    Alice is survived by her husband of 50 years, John W. Clack Jr., whom she married June 17, 1961; son & daughter-in-law, Kenneth William & Melissa Clack of Tipp City; daughters & sons-in-law, Julie Ellen & Barry Lavey of Greenville and Melanie Joy & Ron Mowry of Greenville; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Jack Gantt of California, Bob Gantt of Vandalia, Gene Gantt of Piqua, Dave Gantt of Union City, Indiana, Frank Gantt of Arcanum, Bill Gantt of Greenville and John Gantt of Dayton; sisters, Miriam Minnich of Bradford, Arlene Manning of Bradford and Peggy Brumbaugh of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, July 22, 2011 at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor Carter Moore & Pastor Larry Lavey officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens in Greenville. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
