Kathryn E. Jenkinson
Kathryn E. Jenkinson age 93 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away at 7:30
A.M. on Friday, July 29, 2011 at Heartland of Greenville. Kathryn was
born June 26, 1918 in Darke County, Ohio, to the late James R. &
Jessie M. (Shultz) Riegle.
Kathryn formerly was a telephone operator at United Telephone from
1948-1957 and a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, Kathryn is also preceded in death by her
brothers, Virgil, William, Christian and Donald Riegle; and sisters,
Dorothy Williams, Elsie Baker, Lily Bel Baker and Betty Altic.
Kathryn is survived by her husband of 72 years, Loyal J. Jenkinson whom
she married April 20, 1939; daughter & son-in-law, Sandra Lee &
Richard Gardner of Sun City West, Arizona; grandchildren, Michael
Gardner, Jennifer Elias and Susan Aurand; 5 great grandchildren;
sisters, Helen Wentworth of Greenville, Phyllis Seiler of Greenville
and Jane Alexander of Craig, Colorado; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the
family. Burial will be in Teegarden Cemetery, Ansonia, Ohio.
