Norman E. Hines
Norman E. Hines, age 71, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday,
June 10, 2011 at 3:13 PM at his residence. He was born on
November 7, 1939 in Wellington, Ohio, to the late Russell Hines &
Pauline (Simonson) Hines McKisson.
Norman retired as a manager from Western Southern
Life Insurance Company after 31 years. He was a member of the
United States Marines, VFW, American Legion, Eagles, Moose, and Elks
all in Greenville.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death
by his step son, Graham Caldwell.
He is survived by his wife, Lana (Mitchell) Hines of
Greenville, Ohio, daughters and son in law, Andrea Honkomp of St.
Peters, Missouri and Tina & Larry Hogen of Cape Girardeau,
Missouri; grandchildren, Katherin, Alex, and Emily; brothers, Jerry and
Larry Hines; sisters, Jean Lieter and Lois Riley; step son, Rob
Caldwell of Lake Lure, North Carolina; step brothers, Claude Thompson,
Ronnie Thompson, and Danny Thompson; as well as numerous nieces and
nephews.
There will be a graveside memorial service held on
Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Greenville Cemetery, Greenville,
Ohio, with Pastor Samuel Hoeflich officiating. Arrangements are
under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville. A
graveside military service will be conducted by the Greenville Veterans
Honor Guard.
It is the wishes of the family that memorial
contributions be given to the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard.
