Clifford R. Smith
Mr. Clifford R. Smith, age 81 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on
Thursday March 10, 2011 at 12:50 PM at Heartland of Greenville.
He was born November 12, 1929 in Kentucky, the son of the late Luther
Smith & Bessie (Rapier) Smith Troutman. He was a
Bricklayer. He was a veteran serving in the Army Air Corp during
the Korean War.
He was a member of New Beginnings Church of God
& D.A.V. Chapter 57.
He is survived by his wife Marie (Jones) Garland
Smith of Greenville whom he married June 24, 1978; daughters & sons
in law: Linda & David Bradfield of Holland, Michigan, Mary
Kitchen of Greenville, Emily & Bennie Jones of Winchester, Indiana,
Pauline & Richard Bartholomew of Rockdale, Texas; Brother:
Robert Smith of Gray, Kentucky; 21 Grandchildren; numerous great
grandchildren, nieces, nephews, & friends.
Services will be held on Tuesday March 15, 2011 at
2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Denny
Paul & Rev. Willard Cole officiating. Burial will follow in
Greenville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to
8:00 PM on Monday March 14, 2011 at the funeral home. Full
military services will be conducted by the Greenville Veterans Honor
Guard.
