Gary L. Hittle
Gary L. Hittle, age 73, of Arcanum, Ohio, passed away on Saturday,
October 8, 2011 at 3:30 AM at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton,
Ohio. He was born on July 3, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio, to the late
Ira & Treva (Strawser) Hittle.
Gary retired from GM Delco Products. He was a
member of the United States Army and loved fishing and mowing his yard.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Karilyn (Boldman) Hittle
of Arcanum, Ohio, whom he married on September 1, 1961; son and
daughter in law, Rodney & Susan Hittle of Arcanum, Ohio; daughter
and son in law, Sherry & Scott Baker of Arcanum, Ohio;
grandchildren, Amanda and Justin Baker, Austen Hittle, Megan and Adam
Sheffield.
There will be service held on Wednesday, October 12,
2011 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with
Pastor Brian Delk officiating. Burial will follow in the
Abbottsville Cemetery, Darke County, Ohio. Family will receive
friends on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
There will be a full military service conducted by
the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard. It is the wishes of the
family that memorial contributions be given to the American Legion or
