Ralph C. Bohn

Ralph C. Bohn, 91, of New Madison, passed away peacefully at his residence on September 1, 2011.  Ralph was born on February 12, 1920in Carroll County, New Winsor MD to the late Clyde and Letha (Blackston) Bohn.
 
Ralph was a farmer his whole life and enjoyed gardening. He loved spending the winters in Sebring, Florida after his retirement. Ralph was a member of the Church of the Brethren and last attended Castine Church of the Brethren.
 
In addition to his parents, Ralph is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Bohn; a brother, Clyde Bohn Jr. and 2 infant children.
 
Ralph is survived by a daughter Linda Godown of New Madison; two sons, Steven & Gloria Bohn of New Paris and Rick & Shelley Bohn of Greenville; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; a brother Clarence & Ada Bohn of Baltimore, MD; two sisters, Gloria Wilson of Bedford, PA and Reba & Joe Burrier of Union Bridge, MD; a sister-in-law Joyce Bohn of Woodsboro, MD.
 
There will be a public visitation from 4 – 8 PM on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Castine Church of the Brethrens Family Life Center, Castine, Ohio.  A celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 PM on Monday, September 5, 2011 at Castine Church of the Brethrens sancuary with Pastor Greg Hyre being asked to officiate.  Burial will follow in the Hollansburg Cemetery. Family request memorial contributions be given to State of the Heart Hospice.
