Pauline M. Shomber

Pauline M. Shomber, 100, Westminster Village, a Life Care Center in Spanish Fort, Alabama and formerly of the Union city Area, died September 22, 2011.
 
She was born September 17, 1911, in Darke County Ohio, the daughter of the late Clifford and Mina (Eberwine) Warner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin B. Shomber on May 4, 2002.
 
She had lived in Darke County the first 93 years of her life and in Alabama the last 7 years.  She was a member of the Community United Methodist Church near Union City, OH.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-laws, Duane and Virginia Shomber of Orange Beach, Al., Larry and Anne Shomber of Sunset, S.C., Gary and Mary Lou Shomber of Loudon, Tenn., a daughter, Phyllis Jean Reis of Winterhaven, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Matthew and Mitchell Reis, Chris Shomber, Leigh Ann Acksel, Kevin and Marc Shomber, Carrie Molitor; six great-grandchildren, Todd and Blake Shomber, Dylan Reis, Emily Katherine and Sean Allen Molitor, Zachary Scott Shomber and one nephew Richard Mitchell of California.
 
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, 1000 N. Broadway, Greenville, OH, with Pastor Eric Swenson officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 12 p.m. till time of services at 2 p.m.
