Robert Lee “Bobby” Doss Jr.

Robert Lee “Bobby” Doss Jr., age 70, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 2:26 PM at Wayne HealthCare in Greenville, Ohio.  He was born on July 17, 1941 in Greenville, Ohio, to Betty (Fitzgerald) Silcott of Greenville, Ohio, and the late Robert Lee Doss Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen (Baker) Doss of Greenville, whom he married on January 15, 1963; children, Cindy (Lee) Blank of Wapakoneta, Ohio, Sharri (Donnie) Klingensmith of Greenville, Timothy (Robin) Doss of Dayton, Ohio, Brenda (Doug) Burns of Arcanum, Ohio, and Robert Lee (Ernie) Doss III of Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren, Rich (Hollie) Thompson, Mandi Beisner, Danny Beisner, Kyle Klingensmith, Kendal Klingensmith, Kass Klingensmith, Kam Klingensmith, Jake Doss, Jessi Doss, Josh (Kerri) Burns, Ryan Burns and Logan Burns; great granddaughter, Morgan Thompson; brother and sister in law, Jim (Shirley) Doss of Greenville; sisters and brothers in law, Sharon (Ray) Wintrow of Greenville and Karen (Doug) Lowder of Greenville; half sister, Cindy McHolland.

In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his grandson, Marcus Lee Thompson; step father, John Null; and sister, Pamela Hutchison.

Bobby was a self employed floor mechanic and a member of the United States Army during the Berlin Conflict. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Darke County Fish and Game Club, as well as the YMCA, VFW, American Legion and the National Rifle Association.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, April 7, 2012 from 2-4 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.  There will be a service held at the convenience of the family.  Burial will be in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.

It is the wishes of the family that memorial contributions be given to the VA Hospital or American Heart Association. Condolences for the family may be expressed through www.zecharbailey.com
