Luis Macias

Luis Macias, 64, of Trenton, OH and formerly of Ansonia and Greenville, passed away early Wednesday morning, August 8, 2012 at Hospice of Dayton.
 
He was born March 2, 1948 in Lubbock, TX, son of the late Guadalupe “Junior” and Josephine (Esparza) Macias. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon Michael Macias.
 
Luis was a veteran of the US Army having served during Vietnam. He worked at Miller-Coors Brewing Company in Trenton. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville and the Moose lodge in Middletown.
 
He is survived by his children, Luis Macias, Jr., Thomas Macias, and Phillip Macias all of Sidney; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Ron Macias of Greenville; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
 
Services with full military honors by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 13 at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, 1000 N. Broadway St., Greenville, OH. Burial will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
 
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2-4 p.m.
