Marta Ann Wheeler
Marta
Ann Wheeler, age 61, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday,
August 15, 2012, at 11:45 PM at the Brethren Retirement Community in
Greenville, Ohio.
She was born on February 8, 1951 in Greenville, Ohio, to Lawrence “Larry” & Mary Lou (Rolfe) Wheeler of Greenville, Ohio.
In
addition to his parents she is survived by her sister, Kimberly A.
Murray of Greenville, Ohio; brother and sister in law, Douglas A. &
Erica Wheeler of Waynesville, Missouri; nephew, Greg Wheeler; nieces,
Nicki (Travis) Cope, Callie Wheeler, and Carlie Wheeler.
Marta
worked at Gershuh’s Restaurant in Greenville for 22 years. She was a
member of the First Congregational Christian Church and loved knitting,
needle point, reading and crossword puzzles.
There will be a visitation held on Monday, August 20, 2012 from 9-11 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
Graveside
service will be held immediately following the visitation at the
Greenville Township Memorial Gardens, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Joe
Soley and Pastor Ted McGurdy co-officiating.
In lieu of
flowers memorial contributions can be given to State of the Heart
Hospice or American Diabetes Association. Condolences for the family
