Evelyn D. Eadler

Evelyn D. Eadler, 92, of New Madison passed away peacefully on Friday, December 21, 2012 at Heartland of Greenville. Evelyn was born August 25, 1920 in Darke County, Ohio to the late Charles and Gladys(Shumaker)Dalrymple.

Evelyn had worked as a librarian at  the New Madison Library for many years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in New Madison and a member of the Homemaker Club.  Evelyn enjoyed reading, cooking & baking, she was a loving and nurturing mother and grandmother.  Her family and church family were very important to her.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter and son in law, Carole and Larry Koons; former husband, Forest Eadler; and a sister, Florence "Tossie" Anderson
 
Those left to mourn her loss include; three sons and daughters in law, Tom Eadler of New Madison, Steve and Lisa Eadler of New Madison, Dave and Robin Eadler, of New Madison; a daughter and son in law, Mary Beth and Patrick Ryan, of Tipp City; twelve grandchildren, Jeff Koons, Brenda Batty, Chris Mote, Rick Koons, Doug Eadler, Alysa Collins, Jon Eadler, Michelle Griffith, Jaime Martin, Kaylee Eadler, Drew Schaar, Kevin Ryan; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
 
A celebration of life services will be held at 11 AM  Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the United Methodist Church, 149 N. Main St. New Madison, Ohio 45346 with Pastor Carol Duffield officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenmound Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 4-7 PM on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 also at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to the New Madison Library or to the United Methodist Church in New Madison.
