James A. "Jim" Unger
James A. “Jim” Unger, 65, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday,
December 21, 2012 at 10:50 AM at his residence. He was born on
February 13, 1947 in Darke County, Ohio, to the late Arthur J. &
Helen (Gephart) Unger.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia L. “Pat” (Monnier) Unger of
Greenville, Ohio, whom he married on February 15, 1969; son and
daughter in law, Jeffery & Kathrine Unger of Greenville; daughters
and son in law, Penni Unger of Miamisburg, Ohio, and Holli & Greg
George of Versailles, Ohio; grandchildren, Jonathan, Zachary, Seth,
Kyrie, Mckenzi, Mallory, Toby, Elliot, Elise, Raeanne, Camille, Joshua,
Kenneth and Justin; Dog, Elli; brother, Ned (Brenda Wallace) Unger of
Greenville; sister in law, Susie (Harold) Roberts of Winchester,
Indiana; as well as multiply nieces and nephews.
Jim worked at several factories in the area retiring as a grinder and
welder. He was a member of the Covington Eagles and loved being with
his grandchildren.
There will be a service held on Monday, December 24, 2012 at 11:00 AM
at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Rev. Fr. Jim
Simons officiating. Burial will follow in the Miami Memorial Park
in Covington, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Monday from
9:00-11:00 AM the funeral home.
