Harry "Eddie" Widener
Harry "Eddie" Widener, 71 of Greenville and formerly of Rossburg,
passed away Tuesday morning, December 4, 2012 at Village Green
Healthcare Center in Greenville.
He was born December 27, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio, son of the late John
William and Evelyn (Mitchel) Widener. In addition to his parents
he was preceded in death by a sister, Sue A. Frye.
Eddie was a car reconditioner having worked for several years at Smith
Chevrolet in Rossburg. He was a veteran of the US Army.
Harry is survived by his brothers; Albert Widener (Grace), Raymond
"Butch" Widener, Ron Widener (Kathy), John Widener (Julie), Dann "Slug"
Widener (Pam); sisters, Sharon Bowman and Roselynne Widener; and
numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, December 8, at
the Oliver- Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Ms. Debra Frye
officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Township
Memorial Gardens.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be
given to Rossburg Fire Department or State of the Heart Hospice.
