Philip R. Mitchell
Philip R. Mitchell, age 83 of Greenville, Ohio passed away Wednesday
January 25, 2012 in the Good Samaritan Hospital Dayton, Ohio.
Philip was born May 14, 1928 in Lewisburg, Ohio and the son of the late
George and Madeline (Hill) Mitchell.
Mr. Mitchell was a graduate of Lewisburg High School and Miami
University of Ohio. He was a Korean War veteran, having served in
the Counter Intelligence Corps. Mr. Mitchell was a long time
member of the Libanus Masonic Lodge #80 of Lewisburg, Ancient Accepted
Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton and was retired from the former State
Fidelity Savings and Loan of Greenville.
He is survived by his daughter Tanya (Eric) Brand of Greenville, son
Matthew (Lana) Mitchell of Delphos, Ohio and four grandchildren and two
step grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the
family in the Roselawn Cemetery Lewisburg, Ohio. There will be no
public visitation.
Arrangements by Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to
Hospice of Dayton.
