Florence L. Hollinger

Florence L. Hollinger, 92, of Columbus and formerly of Greenville, passed away late Saturday evening, July 14, 2012 at her son’s residence in Columbus.
 
She was born January 30, 1920 in Mt. Pleasant, PA, daughter of the late John and Blanche (Gibboney) Addis. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Addis, and a sister, Hannah Denny.
 
Florence was retired from Corning in Greenville. She was a member of the Greenville VFW Auxiliary and the Women of the Moose. She was an avid painter and seamstress.
 
She is survived by her sons, Thomas (Teddie) Hollinger of Columbus, Glen (Kathy) Hollinger of Metairie, LA, and Robert F. Hollinger of Greenville; and  numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
 
Services will be held Saturday, July 21 at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, 1000 N. Broadway, Greenville, OH with Pastor Paul Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in the Harris Creek Cemetery near Bradford.
 
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Alzhiemer’s Association.
