Freda Mae Reier

Freda Mae Reier, age 79, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 7:10 AM at her residence.  She was born on July 10, 1932 in Red River, Ohio, to the late Stanley & Hazel (Lavey) Beam.

Freda is survived by her husband, Hubert Reier of Greenville, Ohio, whom she married on June 11, 1949; children and spouses, Richard (Marlene) Reier of Ansonia, Steven Reier of Ansonia, Michael (Tammy) Reier of Greenville, Kathern Reier of Greenville, Sheila (Randy) Bradburn of Greenville, Phillip (Sonya) Reier of Greenville, Perry (Lorraine) Reier of Fostoria, Ohio, Kristena (Myron) Damewood of Union City, Ohio, and Melissa (Todd) Alspaugh of Greenville; 32 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sister and brother in law, Deloris (David) Partin-Cleveland of Hillgrove, Ohio; brothers and sisters in law, Dale (Cindy) Beam of Kentucky, Harold (Deb) Beam of Piqua, Ohio, Ralph (Joanne) Beam of Greenville, and Daniel (Peg) Beam of Ansonia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Ronald William Reier; great granddaughter, Olive Clark; sister, Betty Shotz; brothers, Stanley Beam Jr., Charles Beam, Donald Beam, and Roger Beam. 

Freda was a housewife and was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses where she based most of her life around.  She also loved shopping and traveling.

There will be a service held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Gary L. Sierer (Elder) Greenville North Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses officiating.  Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery, Greenville, Ohio.  Family will receive friends on Saturday from 11-1 at the funeral home.
