Anthony L. "Tony" Printz

Anthony L. “Tony” Printz age 67, of Ansonia, Ohio went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 3:35 A.M. at State of the Heart Hospice Care Center in Greenville. Tony was born April 20, 1946 in Greenville, Ohio to the late Charles William & Mary Esther (Boyer) Printz.

Tony is survived by his sons & daughters-in-law, Todd & Darla Printz of Ansonia and John & Joy Printz of Woodington; grandchildren, Sara & Dan Kaiser of Greenville, Chris Printz of Ansonia and Jesse Printz of Woodington; expected great-grandchild; brothers & sisters-in-law, David & Mary Beth Printz of Arcanum, Gene & Treva Printz of Arcanum, Ronald & Analee Printz of Arcanum and Bill & Joyce Printz of Union City, Ohio; sisters & brothers-in-law, Darlene Williamson of Dayton, Sandra & Rock Warrick of Versailles and Joyce & Mark Miller of Lynn, Indiana; sister-in-law, Marilyn Printz of Bradford; brother-in-law and great friend, Dennis Lemon of Greenville; numerous nieces & nephews; and a special friend, Lorena Bullock of Dunkirk, Indiana.

In addition to his parents, Tony is also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Printz.

Tony retired from Clopay Corporation with over 20 years of service and formerly worked at Sheller Globe in Union City, Indiana for 26 years. Tony was a 1964 graduate of Ansonia High School. Tony was an avid Reds fan; avid gardener; avid Ansonia Tigers sports fan; and loved hunting & fishing. Tony enjoyed spending time with his family.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, August 19, 2013 at Beamsville Christian Church 6102 Beamsville Union City Rd. Greenville with Rev. Steve Short officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens in Darke County. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville and Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contribution be made to State of the Heart Hospice or Beamsville Christian Church.
