Barbara J. DeBoard

Barbara J. DeBoard age 71, of Mount Washington, Kentucky and formerly of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Barbara was born October 11, 1941 in Greenville, Ohio to the late Lawrence Henry & Alice Rosella (Smith) Kiser.

Barbara is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Lisa & Dan Carmany of Taylorsville, Kentucky and Diana & Franz Hardin of Greenville, Ohio; grandchildren, Dana & Stacy Carmany of Taylorsville Kentucky, Jennifer Carmany & Dallas Jewel of Taylorsville, Kentucky, Tamzin Bennett of Taylorsville, Kentucky and Leana Huntwork of Greenville, Ohio; step grandchildren, Holly (Best) & Jared Ireland of Delta, Ohio, Tesla Fox of Greenville, Ohio and Bailey Hardin of Greenville, Ohio; great grandchildren, Cameron Carmany, Dacoda Jewel and Jonah Jewel; step great grandchildren, Lincoln Ireland, Emily Ireland and Eli Ireland; brothers & sisters-in-law, James O. Smith of Greenville, Ohio, Lawrence “Sham” & Marsha Kiser of Union City, Ohio, William E. & Mabel Kiser of Greenville, Ohio and Michael Kiser of Greenville, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is also preceded in death by her sisters, Wauneta Hann and Doris K. Kiser.

Barbara was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Greenville for many years. She was also Past Senior Regent of the Greenville Moose Lodge where she was a member for many years.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Sylvia McKibben officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the E.U.M. Church Food Bank in Greenville or Greenville Moose Lodge-Mooseheart. The family request guest to bring photos of their mother to be shared.
