Leon E. Meyers
Leon E. Meyers, 75 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday December
30, 2012 at 6:26 PM at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. He
was born November 12, 1937 in Preble County, Ohio the son of the late
Lowell E. & Thelma J. (Schultz) Meyers. He worked for
Leaseway Motorcar Transport for 20 years; he also worked for Chrysler
Air Temp., & Shraders. He was a member of the Greenville
Baptist Temple.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Grandchildren: Amber
Nicole, and an infant boy.
He is survived by his wife: Hazel L. (Karn) Meyers of Greenville;
children & spouses: David & Debra Meyers of Union City,
Indiana, Scott & Vera Meyers of Union City, Ohio, Joanne & Jim
Williams of Greenville, Russell & Carla Meyers of Greenville; 9
grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 7 step
great grandchildren; brothers & sisters in law: Steve &
Sue Meyers of Union City, Ohio, Bruce & Linda Meyers of Verona,
Ohio; sister & brother in law: Sharon & Bob Smith of Polk
City, Florida.
Services will be held on Friday January 4, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Zechar
Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Daniel Berdine
officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial
Gardens. Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on
Thursday January 3, 2013 at the funeral home. Memorial
contributions may be made to Comprehensive Health Network.
