Leroy E. Sprowl
Leroy
E. Sprowl age 84, of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 2:10 P.M. on
Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Brethren Retirement Community in
Greenville. Leroy was born June 8, 1928 in Bradford, Ohio to the late
Basil & Martha (Smith) Sprowl.
Leroy is survived by a daughter & son-in-law, Karen & Vincent
Crow of Ansonia; sons & daughters-in-law, Tom & Theresa Sprowl
of South Carolina, David Sprowl of California and Bob & Amy Sprowl
of Greenville; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Leroy is also preceded in death by a brother, Ray Gibboney; and sisters, Nellie and Betty Sprowl.
Leroy formerly worked at the Union City Body Company in Union City, Indiana.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, January 10,
2013 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Terry
Haworth officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Darke
County. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00
P.M. and Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home.
