James Edward Hiegel
James Edward Hiegel, age 83 of Montezuma, Ohio and formerly of Ansonia, Ohio passed away Sunday June 9, 2013.
Jim served 3 years in the Army in the Korean War as a
paratrooper. He retired from the Ohio Highway Patrol and also
from the Union City Body Company.
He is preceded in death by his mom and dad, Homer and Margaret (Bailey)
Hiegel, his sister Marjorie Dynes, his brother Ward Hiegel and his
granddaughter Marilyn Harless.
Jim is survived by 4 daughters: Sandra (Edward) Schott, Marjorie (Mark)
Neeley, Rhonda Werner and Shelly (Rex) Fields, 1 son Randy Enicks and 3
brothers Walt, Keith and Tom Hiegel. He also enjoyed his 12
grandchildren and his 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday June 12, 2013 in
the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Nick
Cordray officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville
Township Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on
Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until time of the services in the funeral
home.
Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the Leukemia Association.
