Alice M. (Heiser) Niswonger

Alice M. (Heiser) Niswonger of Pompano Beach FL., formerly of Greenville and Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away at Holy Cross Hospital on June 4, 2013 at the age of 83.
 
She was born on January 19, 1930 in Darke County, Ohio a daughter of the late Joseph and Ethel (Trissel) Heiser.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Niswonger; son, Billy Joe Hollinger; brothers, Russell Glen Heiser, Lawrence Grant Heiser , Robert Heiser; sisters, Emmeline Holdeman, Martha Boise, and Margaret (Kate) Sargent.
 
Alice worked in retail grocery stores all her life until retirement.  She graduated from Ansonia High School, Class of 1948. She loved her family, the beach, books, and loved to shop and eat out.  She loved dogs, especially a black lab, Izzi.
 
Alice is survived by her loving daughter, Kay A. (Hollinger) Mote of Pompano Beach, FL.  They have lived together in a condo on the beach for 12 wonderful years.  Survived also by special nieces and nephews; Jim and Irma Heiser, Carol and Terry Haworth, Barb and Gary Conrad; many other nieces and nephews and a special friend, Patrick Brown.
 
Services to held at a later date at Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville, Ohio.
