Phyllis Joan Robbins

Phyllis Joan Robbins, 80 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Sunday March 3, 2013 at 3:40 PM at her residence.  She was born December 6, 1932 in Darke County, Ohio the daughter of the late Corliss Burdett & Martha Evora (Sothoren) Dininger.  She worked as a Nursing Assistant at Wayne Hospital for 10 years, the Brethrens Home for 2 years, and at Rest Haven retiring in 1993.  She was a member of First Congregational Christian Church, the Women’s Fellowship; and was an avid bowler.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Brother:  Robert Earl Dininger; Sister:  Betty Jean Tharp; Son in law:  Carl L. Westfall II

She is survived by her husband of 60 years Richard Robbins whom she married May 17, 1952; children & spouses:  Rick & Darla Robbins of Rossburg, Christina Westfall of New Lebanon, Mark Robbins of Greenville, Jeff & Nicole Robbins of Greenville; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sisters in law:  Marilyn Jane Emmons, Marilyn Jean Robbins; numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 9, 2013 at 11:30 AM at First Congregational Christian Church 115 West Fifth Street, Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Ted McCurdy officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.  Family will receive friends 2 hours prior to services on Saturday at the church.  Arrangements are being handled by Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.  Memorial contributions may be given to State of the Heart Hospice.
