Verna Ann Cool
Verna Ann Cool age 83, of Polk City, Florida and formerly of
Versailles, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Winter
Haven Hospital in Winter Haven, Florida. Verna was born October 28,
1929 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Everett & Marcella (Lehman)
Emerson.
Verna is survived by her sons & daughter-in-law, Gregory &
Deborah Vogel of Troy, Ohio and Carl Vogel of Tarpon Springs, Florida;
4 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren and
11 step great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Verna is also preceded in death by her
husband, Thomas R. Cool on May 20, 2009; brother, Everett Emerson; and
sister, Eunice Oliver.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 12,
2013 at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor Dale
Christian officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in
Versailles. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. on
