Cleda Faye (Osborne)
Ramey
Cleda Faye (Osborne) Ramey, 70, of Greenville, went to be with the Lord
Wednesday evening, September 25, 2013 at the State of the Heart Hospice
Care Center in Greenville.
She was born July 31, 1943 in Ages, KY, daughter of the late Joseph
Clyde and Margaret (Hocker) Osborne. In addition to her parents, she
was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Wayne Ramey in 2000; three
brothers, John Frank Osborne, Owen Osborne and Joe Osborne, Jr.; and a
sister June Osborne.
Cleda had worked as a nurse’s aide and also as a housekeeper. She was a
member of the Open Door Church of God in Greenville.
She is survived by, Danny Davis of Greenville with whom she has shared
the past five years; two sisters-in-laws, Alice Osborne of Palestine,
OH and Vera Osborne of Glendale, AZ; 10 grandchildren, 5 great
grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 12 PM, Wednesday, October 02, at the New
Beginnings Church, 802 E. 4th Street, Greenville, with pastors Willard
Kole and Arnol Wynn officiating. Burial will follow in the Palestine
Cemetery.
The family will be receiving guests at the church from 10 AM until the
time of the service at 12PM.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home to help
defray funeral expenses.
