David Henry Isenhouer
David Henry Isenhouer age 97, of Versailles, Ohio passed away at 4:18
A.M. on Friday, April 18, 2014 at the Brethren Retirement Community in
Greenville. David was born April 27, 1916 in Darke County, Ohio to the
late Ray & Mary (McClure) Isenhouer.
David is survived by his sons & daughters-in-law, John & Kathie
Isenhouer of Piqua and Phillip & Jodie Isenhouer of Yorba Linda,
California; grandchildren, Michelle, Chad, Jill, Roger and Gwyn;
adopted granddaughter, Kelly Wulber; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Ronald
and DJ; sisters-in-law, Mary Catherine Isenhouer of Brock, Dorothy
Rismiller of Versailles and Norma Rismiller of Versailles; and numerous
favorite nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, David is also preceded in death by his
loving wife, Doris E. (Rismiller) Isenhouer on October 12, 2005 whom he
married September 19, 1939; brother, Donald Isenhouer; and sisters,
Marjorie Huffman, Kathryn Wills and Louise Fourman.
David retired from farming after 60 years. He formerly worked at Stover
Feed & Grain for 15 years and Argosy for 8 years. David was a
member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in North Star.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, April 24,
2014 at Brock Cemetery in Brock with Pastor Laura Shreffler
officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 to
8:00 P.M. at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles. Condolences for
