Matthew R. Bashore
Matthew R. Bashore, 39, of Greenville, went to be with his Lord early
Friday morning, August 22, 2014 at his residence after a long illness.
He was born July 30, 1975 in Greenville, the son of George C. and Cathy
G. (Delk) Bashore of Greenville.
He was a member of the Gospel Baptist Church of Greenville. He was a
graduate of Greenville High School. He received his bachelor Degree
from Ohio State University, and then his Jurist Doctorate from
University of Tennessee Law School. After school he went to work for
Lexis-Nexis.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Michael
(Elizabeth) Bashore; a niece Sophia; and a nephew, Isaiah.
A celebration of Matthew's life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday,
August 27, at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor
Bill Edwards officiating. Burial wil follow in the Greenville Township
Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral
home. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to State
of the Heart Hospice.
