William E. "Bill" Fletcher

William E. “Bill” Fletcher age 69, of Glasgow, Kentucky and formerly of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 7:25 A.M. on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at his residence. Bill was born October 16, 1945 in Greenville, Ohio to the late Herman A. & Frances Jane (Brinley) Fletcher Sr.

Bill is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carolyn Jo (Garbig) Fletcher whom he married January 11, 1964; son, Brett Alan Fletcher of Glasgow, Kentucky; grandchildren, Brian Fletcher of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Mike Crampton of North Ridgeville, Ohio and John Crampton of Middleburg Heights, Ohio; brothers & sisters-in-law, Herman A. & Valerie Fletcher Jr. of North Ridgeville, Ohio, Richard & Evelyn Fletcher of Greenville, Ohio and David Fletcher of Greenville, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Bill is also preceded in death by a daughter, Krystal Fletcher; and half-brothers, Ralph Mikesell and Bill Petry.

Bill was a field sales engineer for BR Retreading in Glasgow, Kentucky. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Berea, Ohio.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Sylvia McKibben officiating. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery in Darke County, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A Lodge of Sorrow will be conducted by the Greenville Elks Lodge at 5:15 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
