Mary Belle Fleenor
Mary Belle Fleenor age 83, of Versailles, Ohio passed away at 5:25 P.M.
on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at her residence. Mary was born January
11, 1931 in Trebein, Ohio to the late George & Victoria L. (Butts)
Steward.
Mary is survived by her husband of 63 years, Paul Edward Fleenor whom
she married February 24, 1951; children, Vicki Witt of Versailles,
Ohio, Paula & Dan Varvel of Versailles, Ohio, Paul & Cindy
Fleenor, Jr. of Versailles, Ohio, Sandy DeHart of Greenville, Ohio,
Patsy Hart of North Carolina and Kelly & Kenny Hill of St. Marys,
Ohio; 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great
grandchildren; brother & sister-in-law, Bill & Gladys Steward
of Spring Valley, Ohio; sisters, Georgia Pitzer of Xenia, Ohio and Jane
Swindler of Xenia, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary formerly worked at the Center of Hope Nursing Home in Union City,
Ohio where she was the activities director. Mary was a member of the
Versailles Baptist Church, Christian Women’s Club, My Friends Card Club
and Darke County Horseshoe Club where she was President for 10 years.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 1, 2014
at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor Harold Liess
officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 P.M. in Bellbrook Cemetery in
Bellbrook, Ohio with Rev. John Butts officiating. The family will
receive friends on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Darke
