Steven "Steve" Ross Price

Steven "Steve" Ross Price, 64, of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2014 at his residence. Steve was born on October 3, 1949 in West Alexandria, Ohio to his late father, Frank A. and  mother, Madeline (DeShayes) Price of West Alexandria.

Steve was retired from General Motors Truck and Bus after over 25 years of service as a maintenance dispatcher. He served his country honorably in the Army during the Vietnam War. Steve was a lifetime member of the VFW Post #8312 in Beavercreek. He had an honorary degree from the VFW Military Order of the Cootie in Beavercreek.

Steve was a member of the Christian Life Center of Beavercreek.  He enjoyed all sports, especially golf and fishing. He loved watching OSU football and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, Steve is survived by his wife, Andra (Lopez) Price, whom he would have been married 34 years to on January 24; two daughters, Angela A. Price of Beavercreek and Stephanie and Joe Cantrell of Englewood, Ohio; four grandchildren, Michael Allen Campbell II, Zackary Anthony Cantrell, Madeline Isabella Cantrell and Mackenzie Ann Cantrell; two brothers, Mike and Debbie Price of West Alexandria and Frank and Linda Price of Bellbrook, Ohio; several nieces and nephews in the Chicago and Dayton area, and his special companion, Roxy his dog.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 12:30 PM at Christian Life Center, 1321 Research Park Drive in Beavercreek, with Pastor Ryan Day officiating.  Friends and family may visit on Monday, January 6, 2014 from 4 - 8 PM also at the church. The family request donations be made to the family for the College Fund for the Price grandchildren with contributions being accepted at the services.
