Jacqueline V. Barlage

Jacqueline V. Barlage age 80, of Russia, Ohio passed away at 12:45 P.M. on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at her residence. Jacqueline was born August 25, 1933 in Greenville, Ohio to the late Clark & Gertrude (Brumbaugh) Kosier.
   
Jacqueline is survived by her husband, Edward F. Barlage whom she married May 5, 1961; children, Brian & Denise Barlage of Ft. Loramie, Lori & Jeff Alexander of Anna, Tim Barlage of Russia and Jeff Barlage of Versailles; grandchildren, Brandon Barlage, Austin Barlage, Brianna Barlage, Jenna Barlage, Brittney Alexander, Tricia Alexander, Devon Alexander, Courtney (Wes) Drees, Zachary Barlage and Joshua Barlage; great-grandchildren, Arian Drees and Ace Drees; sister, Joan Ross of Alexandria, Indiana; sisters-in-law, Betty Kosier of Greenville and Alice Kosier of Fairborn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
   
In addition to her parents, Jacqueline was also preceded in death by her brothers, Richard C. “Dick” Kosier and David Franklin Kosier; and a brother-in-law, Ronald Ross.
   
Jacqueline was a homemaker. She was a member of the Versailles Christian Church. Jacqueline loved to bake, work crossword puzzles, read, play cards and watch her grandchildren play sports.
   
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July 28, 2014 at the Versailles Christian Church 105 West Ward Street Versailles with Pastor Dennis Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in St. Remy Cemetery in Russia. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles and Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at the church.
