Dorotha W. Eliker
Dorotha W. Eliker, 97 of Greenville, OH, passed away Tuesday, July 1,
2014 at the Brethren Retirement Community.
She was born May 31, 1917 in Darke County, OH, a daughter of the late
Walter and Clara (McKibben) Davenport. In addition to her parents
she was preceded in death, on December 27, 2005, by her husband,
Herbert V. Eliker, whom she married June 1, 1940; sisters, Annabel
Enicks and Helen Davenport.
Dorotha was a homemaker and a member of the EUM Church.
She is survived by her children, Bill Eliker of Ansonia and friend
Patrice Nisonger Padula, Betty (James) Jones of North Chippewa, OH; 3
grandchildren, Derek (Lucreda) Miller of Greenville, Janell Miller of
Greenville, Jamie King of Ft. Wayne, IN; 9 great grandchildren; 7 great
great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1PM, Tuesday, July 8 2014 at the Oliver-Floyd
Funeral Home in Greenville with the Rev. Sylvia McKibben
officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenmound Cemetery in New
Madison.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, July 7
from 5PM to 7 PM.
