Norma Fae Knick

Norma Fae Knick, 90, of Greenville, passed away Monday evening, July 14, 2014, at Wayne Healthcare in Greenville.
 
She was born May 1, 1924, in Greenville Township, Darke County, the daughter of the late Karl James and Naomi Ellen (Clay) Knick. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Eileen E. Schrader, and a brother, Ralph G. “Pete” Knick.
 
Norma had retired as the Darke County Auditor. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Greenville, the first lady Auditor in Darke County, the first lady on the Wayne Hospital Board of Directors, a member of the advisory board for AAA, as well as being involved in numerous organizations as a member and board member, and was a recipient of numerous awards and citations. And she was a proud member of the Greenville High School class of 1942.
 
She is survived by her nephews, Dennis (Paula) Schrader, Daryl (Carolyn) Schrader, and Dale (Connie) Schrader; great nieces and nephews, Heather, Autumn, Christopher, Julie, Kate and Daniel Schrader, Michael (Adriann) Armocida, Tiffany Armocida; great-great nieces and nephews, Seth, Cody, Noah, Meghan, Logan, Leah and Hunter.
 
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 19 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 131 E. 4th St., in Greenville, with Pastor Peter Menke officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery.
 
The family will receive friends at the church Saturday, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to either Habitat for Humanity or the Darke County Parks District.
 
Services have been entrusted with the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville.
