Paul E. Fannon Sr
Paul E. Fannon Sr., 85 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Monday June
16, 2014 at 10:27 PM at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. He
was born January 22, 1929 in Barbourville, Kentucky the son of the late
Roy & Mossie (Goley) Fannon. He retired from Delco
Products. He served in the United States Army in the Korean
War. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W.
He is preceded in death by his parents; step granddaughter: Sarah
Hime; brother: Silas Fannon; sister: Mae Ely.
He is survived by his wife: Rita (Curtner) Fannon of Greenville;
sons & daughter in law: Paul E. Fannon Jr. of Dayton, Ohio,
David L. & Isabel Fannon of Kettering, Ohio; step sons &
daughters in law: Steven & Pam Ungericht of Minnesota,
William E. & Sateasch Hime of Wisconsin; 7 grandchildren; numerous
great grandchildren; brother: George Fannon of Dayton, Ohio;
sisters: Pearl Dalton of Dayton, Ohio, Ida Price of Bellbrook,
Ohio, Fayetta Helton of Tennessee; & numerous nieces & nephews.
Services will be held on Friday June 20, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Zechar
Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Terry Terrell
officiating. Burial will follow in Gettysburg Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday June
19, 2014 at the funeral home. Veteran’s graveside services will be
conducted by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard In lieu of flowers
memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
