June E. Wentworth

June E. Wentworth, 91, of Greenville, passed away early Monday morning, June 9, 2014 at the State of the Heart Hospice Care Center.
 
She was born June 7, 1923 in Darke County, a daughter of the late Ballinger B. and Grace Ethel (Gray) Turner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Dale Wentworth on February 10, 1986; a son, Melvin, Jr.; sisters, Anna Mary Taylor, Ruth Schaar, Alta Peters, Alice Wentworth, and Mildred Hocker; and brothers, Wayne and Russell Turner.
 
June was retired from Lewisburg Container. She was a member of the Rossburg United Methodist Church, the Greenville Eagles Auxiliary, and a life member of the Greenville VFW Auxiliary.
 
She is survived by her children, Ron (Jill) Wentworth of Suttons Bay, MI, Allen (Judi) Wentworth of Gulf Port, MS, Sandy (Dick) Sexton of Greenville, Linda (Kanny) Schlotterbeck of Lewisburg, and Steve Wentworth of Jacksonville Beach, FL; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 2 great great  grandchildren, sisters, Dorothy Boyd of Greenville, Virginia Gilmore of Versailles, and Norma Rammel of Greenville; brothers, Junior (Phyllis) Turner of Ansonia, and Robert (Nadine) Turner of Rossburg; a sister-in-law, Janet Turner and numerous nieces and nephews.
 
Private services will be held at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor John Monroe officiating. Burial will follow in the Brock Cemetery.
 
There will be no public visitation.
 
The family requests that memorial contributions given to the Rossburg United Methodist Church, PO Box 128, Rossburg, OH 45362 and State of the Heart Hospice, 1350 N. Broadway St., Greenville, OH 45331
