Elsie R. Lane
Elsie R. Lane age 80, of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 7:31 P.M. on
Sunday, March 9, 2014 in the E.R. at Wayne HealthCare in Greenville.
Elsie was born April 14, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Benjamin
& Gladys (Mullins) Shahan.
Elsie is survived by her husband of over 56 years, Jack J. Lane whom
she married June 8, 1957; children, Linda Lane of Piqua, Ohio, Mark
& Kelly Lane of Piqua, Ohio and Gina & Dan Wolfe of Greenville, Ohio; grandchildren, Ethan Lane, Micah Carli and Graci
Carli; sister, Leona Farmer of Greenville, Ohio; and many great friends.
In addition to her parents, Elsie is also preceded in death by a
brother, Benjamin Shahan, Jr.
Elsie was a homemaker.
A funeral service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 13, 2014
at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Bob Lane officiating.
There will be no burial. The family will receive friends on Thursday
from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may
be made to the American Lung Association of Cincinnati, Ohio 4050
